Dr. Corinne Majeska
Dr. Corinne Majeska earned her undergraduate degree at Penn State University and her master’s degree at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Dr. Majeska graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School in 2003 and has worked in several hospitals in the Philadelphia area as an associate veterinarian and Chief of Staff, and then spent three years working as an emergency veterinarian. She jumped to open CPH with her husband, Joshua Weber, as practice manager, and they opened their doors in December 2009.
Since opening, CPH has grown quickly and is now home to six full-time vets. While management of such growth has practically been a full-time job of its own, Dr. M continues to play an active role in caring for her “first baby.”
On her ‘off’ time, Dr. M, now a Mom of two, spends time keeping her kids entertained, along with her two cats. They all join in for (very frustrating) yoga, (rather unproductive) knitting, (not nearly often enough) baking projects and a ton of laughter and smiles.
Dr. Tara McCafferty
Dr. Tara McCafferty graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She participated in Rural Area Veterinary Services, was on the Dean’s List, and completed a Veterinary Business Management Association certificate program. She has been practicing general small animal medicine in the Philadelphia area ever since.
Her interests include internal medicine, geriatrics, pain management, dermatology, and behavior. She resides in Philadelphia and enjoys spending time with her family and cats, cooking, hiking, and traveling.
Dr. Ariana Shakory
Dr. Ariana Shakory was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received a BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine & Animal Biosciences from the University of Delaware in 2015. She attended veterinary school at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2019.
She recently moved to Philadelphia to join Companion Pet Hospital and enjoys small animal and exotic medicine. She has a golden retriever named Chewy and likes to play frisbee and go hiking with him in her spare time.
Dr. Laurel Frydenborg
Dr. Laurel Frydenborg has been practicing for 18 years and attended the University of Pennsylvania. She prides herself in listening to and respecting clients and in her ability to explain medical reasoning and recommend the most thorough but cost-efficient plan of action possible to help a patient.
She likes taking her dog for long walks and exploring new parts of the city, and spending time with her 12-year-old son and husband, as well as friends. She also enjoys cooking and likes to read a mix of fiction and non-fiction.
