About Us

Companion Pet Hospital opened its doors in the Pennsport neighborhood of South Philadelphia in 2009, founded by Dr. Corinne Majeska and her husband, Joshua Weber, as practice manager. As lifelong Philadelphians, they built the clinic with sustainability at its core—assembling a team of experts to ensure every aspect of the space met their environmental standards. Today, our green hospital is home to five veterinarians and more than 20 dedicated staff members serving pets and families across Pennsport, Passyunk Square, Queen Village, Point Breeze, and the greater Philadelphia area.

We are a full-service animal hospital providing veterinary care and grooming services to dogs and cats throughout Philadelphia. We are Philadelphia’s only Fear Free Certified Practice and hold a Cat-Friendly Practice designation from the American Association of Feline Practitioners—two distinctions that reflect our commitment to low-stress, compassionate care. Our team provides medical, surgical, and dental services supported by an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and a pet health store—giving your pet access to complete care under one roof.

From early detection and treatment of illness to surgical intervention, we are here for you and your four-legged family members.
